Frame Description: The painting is housed in an elaborate, newly crafted gilded wooden frame that enhances its presentation while maintaining a classical aesthetic. Measuring 125 x 96 cm with the frame, the overall dimensions balance well with the size of the artwork, ensuring that the composition remains the focal point. The frame features intricately carved scrolling foliate and floral motifs, deeply rendered to create a three-dimensional effect.

Selected evidence from this section shows how ConfirmArt structures a real client case for Historic & Old Master Cases, combining visual review with documented comparables.

The first documented restoration occurred between its initial listing in the Bertolami Fine Art auction (Figure ) and its subsequent sale through Antichità Castelbarco. During this intervention: The artwork was cleaned to remove accumulated surface dirt and discoloration, which had obscured details and dulled the original palette. The original, worn frame was replaced with a more appropriate frame that complemented the artwork's historical and aesthetic context.

The second restoration, more comprehensive in scope, occurred after the artwork was listed in its improved state (following the first restoration) and included: A deeper cleaning process that removed layers of aged varnish and residual grime, unveiling finer details and restoring vibrancy to the color palette. Stabilization of the canvas to address structural issues, ensuring the longevity of the artwork. Additional aesthetic touch-ups, such as fine retouching of minor losses and reinforcement of the gilded element
